(And if you’re shopping the palette, this model also comes in Compass Green and Dolomite Grey—but this one has a presence all its own.)
Under the hard cab canopy and behind the hard doors sits a liquid-cooled Rotax® V Twin that’s all about usable strength: 82 hp and 69 ft-lb of torque from a 976cc, 4-stroke setup with SOHC and 8 valves. Hit the electric start, feed it regular gas, and let fuel injection keep things crisp when the day gets long. Power runs through a PRO-TORQ CVT with hi/low range and reverse, putting the focus on smooth, steady pull—whether you’re crawling along a fence line or heading back with a full load.
This Defender MAX is sized to feel stable and sure-footed, with a long 115.5-inch wheelbase, 13 inches of ground clearance, and protection where it matters thanks to a front bash plate and full-length skid plate. The steel frame keeps it tough, while mud guards and a CV boot cover help it stay ready for messy jobs.
Got people? Bring them. With 6 seats across two rows, a vinyl bench with folding function and headrests, plus 4 cupholders, it’s set up for crew duty without feeling like a penalty box.
